About S.H.M.

Sivrihisar Aviation Center (S.H.M.), Necati Artan Facilities started its activities as an Air Park in March 2014. The facility is built on approximately 1000 acres of land and the land’s height above the sea level is 2790 feet. The main runway of the airpark is 1810 meters in length and 32 meters in wide. The direction of the runway is 05 to 23. Adjacent to the main runway, there is a grass runway for the gliders and light aircrafts.

”West Apron” and “East Apron” are located on each end of the runway. General aviation aircraft flights, parachute jumps, flight training activities, ground schools, camping activities, model aircraft training and airshows all take place in our airpark. It is a magnet for general and sportive aviation.

M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum took its place in Sivrihisar Aviation Center (S.H.M), Necati Artan Facilities in 2018.


Aircrafts which have contributed to the development of the world aviation and aircrafts with historical values are exhibited along with various exhibits about world aviation.


Majority of the exhibited aircrafts in the museum are airworthy and perform in various events throughout the year at Sivrihisar Aviation Center. 

The museum is open to public everyday except on Mondays and the visit hours are from 10:00 - 17:00.

M.S.O. Air & Space Museum Hangars



Airplane hangars, maintenance hangars, business jet hangars and the A.I.S. (Aeronautical Information Service) are all located in the West Apron. Köken Hangar, Kılıç Hangar, Darıcı Hangar, Ekinci Hangar - Acromach Building, Oruçoğlu Hangar - Mach Aviation Office and M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum are in this Apron. The apron has 20.150 square meters of concrete grounds and there are 5 parking areas for planes with a wing-span of 14 meters, 7 parking areas for planes with a wing-span of 11 meters, and 3 parking areas for jets with a wing-span up to 25 meters. Tie-down anchors are available for each parking area. 

West Apron parking lot is designed to accommodate tour buses and cars. Visitors can visit Sky Cafe and M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum, which are adjacent to the parking lot. 


East Apron is the show and display area for the SHG Airshow. O.C.C. (Operation Control Center),  VIP Building and technical hangars (Riddle and Şen) are located in this apron.

Flight training schools and aviation companies would be located in this apron. 


This apron has 22.300 square meters of asphalt ground.


East apron is electrified by solar energy and this system was sponsored by YEO.
